Re-Engaging Delaware County's High School Dropouts: A Summit for Community Action
On October 20-21, the Delaware County Regional Career Education Partnership, the Delaware County Workforce Investment Board and Youth Council sponsored a countywide summit, Re-Engaging Delaware County's High School Dropouts: A Summit for Community Action.
This summit brought together all key stakeholders, including youth, families, educators, service providers and businesses to discuss best practices and strategies for engaging the County's high school dropouts with work and educational opportunities.
The Summit was held at Penn State-Brandywine-Based on the discussed during the Summit, participants identified a number of potential next steps for action to address Delaware County's needs around re-engaging dropouts.
